1. Who We Are

Trail Tracker is developed and operated by L. Pappalettera.

2. What Data We Collect

Trail Tracker is a fully offline, on-device application. No account or registration is required to use the App.

2.1 Data You Provide

• Race data – race names, dates, and checkpoint information (name, distance, elevation, expected arrival times, cut-off times, and facility flags) that you enter manually into the App.
• Checkpoint completion times – timestamps recorded when you mark a checkpoint as completed during a race.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

The App does not collect any data automatically. There are no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or telemetry tools integrated into the App.

2.3 Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any other account credentials.
• We do not collect your device location.
• We do not collect advertising identifiers.
• We do not transmit any data over the internet.
• We do not share your data with any third party.
• We do not sell your data.

3. How We Use Your Data

All data you enter into the App is used solely to provide the App's functionality — planning your race schedule, displaying checkpoint information, and tracking your progress during a race. This processing happens entirely on your device.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device in a private SQLite database managed by the Android Room library. This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is not backed up to any external server.
• Is accessible only by the Trail Tracker App.
• Is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data from your device settings (Settings → Apps → Trail Tracker → Clear data).

5. Permissions We Request

The App requests no sensitive Android permissions. It does not request location, internet, camera, microphone, or contacts access.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses only on-device libraries. None of these libraries transmit data externally:

• Android Jetpack / Compose (Google) – UI framework
• Room – local SQLite database
• Hilt / Dagger – dependency injection
• Timber – on-device debug logging (debug builds only)

We do not integrate analytics SDKs, advertising networks, social media plugins, or any cloud services.

7. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we never receive or process it on our end, you have full and direct control over your data at all times. You can:

• View your data within the App at any time.
• Edit or delete any race or checkpoint directly inside the App.
• Erase all data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it.

8. Children's Privacy

Trail Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. Because the App does not collect any personal data, no special risk is posed to younger users. If you have concerns, feel free to contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
